I once met a non-copywriter who knew a lot about copy, but struggled to get words on the page. He told me he tried outlining... mindmapping... and even resorted to full-cloth swiping the beginning of emails and ads. Even then he struggled to connect the words to whatever he was selling.
That is, until I showed him a sneaky trick.
What I showed him (and it only took a second or so) is a braindead simple way to "invent" your own copywriting formulas by "stealing" from the best writers on the planet. It's so simple and obvious I thought everyone did it! So I almost didn't bother to tell him. But since he was struggling, I spilled the beans.
Well, since then he rarely has writer's block and finds it way easier to write the copy that runs his business. And on the rare occasion he does have writer's block?
He knows exactly how to "fix" it.
And this is just one of the dozens of tricks I use to get my clients great results. Like corporate mindfulness trainer Meris Gebhardt, who went from never selling a thing to her list to getting a response on the very first email I wrote (within the first hour in fact).
Here's what she had to say about it:
"wooop woop! 1st personal reply (aside from all the auto replies about basking in the sun somewhere off the grid ;)) - w/in 1st hour! Thanks, fingers crossed, I have a good, albeit scary feeling about this! ;)"
And yes, results aren't typical.
In fact, if you're already making sales via email... your results could be much better.
Whatever the case, I have too much on my plate right now to take on a new client. But my waitlist is open.
