The tip I’m sharing with you today just might be the most profitable lesson I ever did learn.
Not just because it’s resulted in me landing all my best clients… and growing my email subscriber list slowly but surely… and getting on the radar of some “names” who have benefited me in one way or another (and other “names” with things still in the works).
But also because it makes my workweek a heckuva lot more fun. And thus, it motivates me to work longer, harder, and with more ferocity.
So when you implement this tip into your own business / writing / marketing / persuasive communication, you will almost certainly see an immediate impact.
Whether you’re a dentist, a contractor, a Buddhist retreat center, a fellow copywriter, or a meditation teacher.
What I’m about to share is a fundamental part of human nature that’s been ‘co-opted’ by organizations from the Catholic Church to Aztecs performing human sacrifice to influential figures like MLK, Malcom X, The Beatles, The Unibomber and on and on and on…
But before you get all squrimy and demand the answer I’m unrepentantly teasing you about, know this:
Just reading what I’m about to share will do nothing to help you. The only way this tip will make your life (and piggybank) more jolly, is if you actually use it.
The good news is that this ‘thing’ comes natural to most people. You just have to get out of your own way.
And that goes double if you understand the market you’re talking too.
Ok, lean in and Poppa Tyler will fill you’re earholes…
The extremely valuable tool / skill / principle of which I speak is:
Yes, I know. It’s simple. It’s obvious. You already knew that.
But judging by 95% of the content out there, most people don’t actually use it.
Because a lot of content I see is dry, boring and academic. Or (even worse), it’s inane and trivial. Or (and this is probably the least sinful of the three), is just straight sales pitch.
There are countless ways to spice up your content and make it entertaining. I hope each of my emails is like a mini ‘power lesson’ for those who are paying attention.
I’ve also shared a report with this list “How to be an Entertaining Writer”. If you haven’t gotten it, message me and let me know and I’ll send you a link to a free copy.
It shares three easy ways to inject entertainment value into what you write. So people actually read it… read it ‘til the end… and look forward to reading more of your shtuff.
And once you learn entertainment, it’s all about interweaving the fun with the facts with the proof with the desire with the…
And that’s where the ‘magic’ of copy comes in.
To get me on your team to ‘work my magic’ (as one client and a daily email subscriber recently put it), message me back to get the ball rolling.
Please note: 99% of what I write is Emails and Sales Page Copy. So if you’re project is a website, articles, or anything else, you can message me, but know I may send you to a copywriter who focuses on what you need.
I’ll be sharing a lot of Email / Copywriting tips this week, so stay tuned.
