The other day I was helping a friend build a garden bed in the hot Southern California sun.
To build it, we used masonry blocks. And while not knee-buckling heavy... masonry blocks ain't light by any means. Especially when you're carrying two at time across the way, over and over again. After a while my friend looked up and said: "How many do you think you'll do?" And my response, which perfectly matched my state of mind at the time, was: "I don't know. I'm just taking it two blocks at a time." Which, if I do say so myself, is a bit profound. And not just when it comes to building a garden bed. But also when it comes to building a business, accruing wealth, or doing anything challenging. Yes you need to know the goal. Which in our case was a garden bed. But if you get caught up in counting how many blocks you have left... and how long that's gonna take you... and how many pounds you'll end up moving... and all the other things you could be doing... you simply waste your energy. Instead of just picking up two blocks. Carrying them. And putting them down. Before you know it, you're done. And you got a brand spankin' new garden bed ready to give you sustenance for years to come. Here ends the fable. Do what you will with it. Today is the last day to book a call to discuss Unlimited Email Extravaganza. In fact, not only is this the last day... but this is the last you'll hear from me on the matter. So if you, for whatever reason, have been waiting until today to take action... consider this "last call". Tomorrow? I'll be sharing something completely different. A topic that is very close to my heart, but one I've never written much about to you, my faithful reader. I'm excited for it. I hope you are too. Tyler McCune Comments are closed.
