The upside down trick to making work fun

5/11/2020

Today I have something completely different for you. And while it is something very close to my heart... it has little to do with business, marketing, copywriting, or making more money.

On the surface at least.

Because really, the exercise I will share can help you work longer... with more focus... happier... and (in my experience) make you more creative.

The best part is that it's a complete and total hoot. And builds sexi muss-soles in all the right places, so that when beaches and parks open up, you'll have that summer bod you crave.

So next time you're hunched over your computer desk... low back burning... eyes hurting... neck strain working up a "something terrible" headache... simply do a few minutes of this.

Ok, the super effective and fun workout I'm teasing you about is none other than the humble, yet difficult handstand.

Yup. The handstand.

It's full body. Relieves strain on your low back from being upside down. Gets blood rushing to your noggin for clarity and focus. And though I can't prove it or say why, something about moving in a unique way gets your brain lubricated like an octogenarian munching bran muffins and a half a quart of prune juice.

And since you probably can't free stand handstand (yet), simply do this:

1) Put your hands next to the wall (a foot or closer... whatever is comfortable)
2) Kick up into the handstand letting the wall support you (back to the wall)
3) Push up through your hands and shoulders and try to last a minute

Ok, now back to work.

If you try this, I'd love to hear how it goes. Just reach out and tell me :)

And if you liked this tip and want more info on how I keep myself healthy and entertained while pumping out emails left and right, let me know.

Happy to spill the beans.
