What did Adam say to his wife the day before Christmas?
It’s Christmas, Eve.
And Christmas Eve it is!
To celebrate, let’s explore one of my favorite topics… Customer Experience.
There are a lot of reasons to natter on about Customer Experience. From the fact that it’s responsible for creating generations of loyal fans… to the massive increase in lifetime-value of a customer… to the refferalls (aka free marketing)… to what I’ll simply put as personal pride.
And that last point is worth nattering on about a bit more, because it gets to the heart of the ‘mindset’ it takes to deliver great Customer Experience.
Because here’s the thing, when your name is on your business (and therefore your product or service), you tend to care a heckuva lot more about the final outcome. Which is just one reason I reccommend developing a personal brand rather than hiding behind a corporate name and logo (if I was starting today, I’d go out as Tyler McCune instead of Copy by McCune… not a big deal but just sayin’).
This goes double, triple, quadruple if you have a team. Because when your name’s on it, your team’s choices are your responsibility.
And when you’re able to respond (responsibility… get it?) in ways that ultimately grow your business, you’ll be marching ever closer to your goal.
So demand excellence on this glorious Christmas Eve.
