I just hopped off the phone with a potential client and she wanted to know what made my services unique. She said something like:
“You don’t have to give me all your secrets…”
Au contraire mon frere. All my secrets are yours.
That’s the entire reason I wrote my book. To give potential clients a peek under the hood. To show them all my secrets and let them make an informed decision on whether or not to hire me.
And that’s one of the key differences between selling services and products.
With services, you can just give the whole dog and pony show away. You can freely spew your secrets from mountain peak.
With products… it’s better to be an unrepetant, Las Vegas-style tease.
Anyway, my secrets have made a bit of an international splash recently. Here’s what daily email subscriber Yami Gonzalez had to say all the way from El Salvador:
